Welcome to our award winning Practice. Providing caring dentistry in Chester since 1977
Mr Richard Johnson and Mr David Whitehouse would like to take this opportunity to welcome all of our new patients to our practice, and for all of you visiting us for the first time we would like to give you some information about our Chester Dental Practice.
Founded in 1977, Johnson & Whitehouse are the NHS contract holders for the Western Cheshire Primary Care Trust and our NHS contract is limited to those people that live within this area. We do however; welcome people from any area as private patients. We are keen to prevent dental disease rather than treat it and we open our doors to children, no matter how young they are. We believe that it is much better to aim at prevention than worry at a later date when a problem has already taken root.

All of our dental nurses are registered with the General Dental Council or are undergoing recognised training in Chester to enable them to register upon completion of such training.
We understand and empathise with those who may hold a deep seated anxiety about dentistry and making that seemingly terrifying trip to the dentist for a check up or treatment. We are here to help and calm those fears and our friendly and approachable staff are here to discuss anything and everything with our patients, don’t be worried, just come in for a chat or give us a call and we will do everything we can to help.
As a caring and proactive dental practice, Johnson & Whitehouse Chester take all the necessary precautions to safeguard both patients and staff against blood-borne infections such as Aids or Hepatitis. We follow recommended guidelines and our staff are kept up to date with the latest methods and technologies to make sure that we are always on step with the correct procedures and protocol. The practice has the most up to date sterilisation procedures, including central sterilisation with washer disinfectors, vacuum autoclaves and central sealed instrument storage.
Due to recently extending the practice and adding a further ground floor surgery, we are now pleased to be able to offer full disabled access to patients.
• We hold a strict confidentiality policy with regard to patient records. All information is maintained at all times and patient records will not be passed onto any third parties without express permission.
