David

David Whitehouse.
B.D.S 1971

David is the practice owner/partner of Johnson & Whitehouse Chester. He is also an undergraduate tutor with Liverpool University, a postgraduate trainer with Mersey Deanery and a Dental Advisor to Western Cheshire PCT.

Davids' professional interests are general family dentistry, advanced conservation and surgical dentistry. He is a member of the British Dental Association, The Society for the advancement of Anesthesia in Dentistry, the Dental Defence Union and the European Mentoring and Coaching Council.

Davids' spare time is spent pursuing DIY, photography, swimming, scuba diving and traveling.

Richard

Richard Johnson.
B.D.S 1971

Richard is the practice owner/partner of Johnson & Whitehouse Chester. He is also an Undergraduate tutor with Liverpool University. He is a member of the British Dental Association, The Society for the advancement of Anesthesia in Dentistry and the Dental Defence Union.

Richard enjoys all aspects of general practice and family dentistry. His personal interests include golf, bowls, snooker, pool, dominoes, cycling and keeping fit. He is a lifelong Huddersfield Town fan but admits to being a closet Manchester United supporter.

Emilia

Emilia Luk
B.D.S 1998    B.Sc. 1988


Emilia joined the practice in 2006 and enjoys all aspects of general family dentistry. She has a special interest in dental implants and has undertaken advanced courses in this area. Emilia is trilingual in English, French and Chinese and gets by in Italian. She enjoys foreign travel, cooking, music, swimming and keeping fit.

Andrew

Andrew Brown
B.D.S 2008

Andy has been an associate of Johnson & Whitehouse Chester since 2008 and is a fully fledged member of the dental team.

He enjoys providing family dentistry and has an interest in dental implants. He is working towards becoming a trainer for dental graduates, a scheme in which the practice already participates.

Outside the practice Andy enjoys keeping fit and is an avid supporter of the Toffee Men (Everton). He is not to be confused with his twin brother who is also a dentist in the Wirral or Paul Brown a further associate dentist at Johnson & Whitehouse.

Tom

Tom Davies
B.D.S 2009.
B.Sc(Hons) 2000. M.Sc 2004.

Tom achieved degrees in chemistry and pharmacology before choosing dentistry as his career. He originally came to Johnson & Whitehouse as a trainee in 2007 and now practices with us as an associate dentist.

Tom enjoys the community environment of the practice and enjoys providing family dentistry and has empathy and understanding of dental anxiety.

Outside of work he enjoys socialising with friends and spending time with his wife and family. Tom is the very proud dad of twins Sophie and Nate

Parvin Sura

I graduated from the University of Liverpool this year. I enjoy all aspects of providing general dental care. Outside the practice, I enjoy socializing with friends and keeping fit. I am a keen player of squash and football. I can also speak fluent Punjabi and Swahili.

Conor O’Hara

Prior to graduating as a dentist Conor qualified and practiced as a veterinary surgeon for four years in Ireland. On deciding on a career change to dentistry he then graduated from Trinity College, Dublin. He has joined Johnson & Whitehouse as a dental graduate. Conor enjoys all aspects of providing dental care and outside of work is currently enjoying exploring and familiarising himself with Cheshire.

The Girls

The practice has 8 dental nurses, 2 receptionists and a Practice Manager. All of our nurses hold a recognized dental nursing qualification, are registered with the General Dental Council or are in a recognized training program to achieve these. Other qualifications held include radiography, oral health, fluoride application, conscious sedation, medical emergencies and resuscitation, decontamination and cross infection. Collectively the nurses hold over 150 years of dental nursing experience. A sociable bunch all the girls enjoy socialising and each have a selection of varied interests.
